- McConnellsburg Motor & Implement was opened in1939 by the late W. H. "BILL" Mellott & his wife Phylene as a New Holland Farm Equipment Dealership.
- The business has worked it's way through many transformations and had to remake itself many times over the years in order to keep up with the needs of the surrounding community.
- Over the years, McConnellsburg Motor & Implement has been a dealer in New Holland Equipment, Case Tractors & Equipment, David Brown Tractors, GMC Trucks, Pioneer Chain Saws, Husquvarna Chain Saws, Snapper Mowers, Gilson Mowers, Lawn Boy Mowers, Kilbros wagons, Maytag Appliances, Amana Appliances, Carolina Boots, Wolverine Boots, and H&H Boots.

- In 1984 the business was purchased by Lyle & Grace Mellott with Fred & Stella Wakefield as silent partners. In 1985 Ford bought New Holland and forced the business to add another location in another county.
- In August of 1989, we suffered a catastrophic building fire. We completely lost everything in the original McConnellsburg location.
- Again, the business went through a major transformation.
- We rebuilt and started over again but the mixing & merging of big businesses forced us to give up our main line of Ford New Holland and start over once again.
- Since then we have sold Goldoni Tractors, Farmtrac Tractors, Montana Tractors, McCormick Tractors and continue to service our old New Holland customers.
- Today, our Main Lines are TYM Tractor & LS Tractor Sales & Service.
- We also sell lots of Tractor Attachments such as Pallet Forks, Brush Hogs, Rototillers, Finish Mowers, Spin Spreaders, Box Blades, Wheel Rakes, & Hay Tedders.
- Several years ago we added EZ DUMPER Truck Bed Inserts and SUNFIRE Radiant Heaters to our product lines.
- We continue to service about anything agricultural related that customers bring to us.
